The fashion industry is slowly declining and they have revised their marketing strategies as well. Once upon a time, brands used to invest a heavy amount in influencers' markets as they have aided them in growth. Due to Covid-19, many brands have lost collaborations and events.
Covid-19 has made us reevaluate our priorities. From personal choices to business-related, we have discarded all the deals that might not be able to support us financially. The fastest-growing industry has come to a pause and is slowly declining. Yes, I am talking about the Fashion retail market. Before Covid-19, people used to consider Apparel and accessories as a substantial part of their lives. However, since March there has been a decline of up to 20% in the fashion market as people have switched their priorities.

Only creativity is going to survive
Every other girl dreamt of becoming a blogger but NOT ANYMORE! Present bloggers with more than 1 Lakh followers are searching for diverse ways to engage with followers. Clothes are not going to define creativity!
Change in mindset
With Covid-19 we have slowed down. Before that, it was all about the new trend, a new style. We never really valued our choice. It was always - running for “latest trend” or “New influencer look”. However, it has been morphed. At a time of recession, 5 types of styling a pair of jeans or a shirt is not we would like to know.
It is going to decline, anyway!
As mentioned above- Only creativity is going to survive. Due to lockdown, no more shopping, hiring photographers, or “10 dresses for going out” are going to outlast. It is high time to shift towards sustainable fashion and focus on the durability of clothes.
Bloggers- Still a hope.
It is easy for them to originate a new pattern and start following that. I guess it’s time to start posting what’s important. Rather than, making people regret that they can’t shop more. The real motive should be to curate content that promotes recycle and reuse.
Viva La Sustainability!
